Collegiate a cappella group, the Barden Bellas, seem to be at the top of their game before . . . well, you'll see in this new trailer. Suffice it to say that they find themselves excluded from performing unless they can win an international competition that no American team has ever won. Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson and that very strange Asian girl are back in PITCH PERFECT 2 and looking to deliver some serious vocal stylings. I'll be the first to admit that I'm generally not a fan of a cappella groups, but I couldn't help but enjoy the infectiously charismatic cast of the original, as well as the energy put forth by everyone involved. It's a film that knew it wasn't reinventing the wheel and definitely played to its strengths. Also, applying a short duet with a naked Anna Kendrick was, dare I say, pitch perfect. The sequel looks to deliver a fun time in the midst of a busy summer movie season, so I say bring it!
