First images of Elsa, Anna and Olaf from the Disney short film Frozen Fever

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

If you thought you could enjoy a period of silence from “Let It Go” or anything else FROZEN related between that film’s release and the inevitable sequel, you were wrong. In just over a month, a brand new short film, FROZEN FEVER, will debut in front of Kenneth Branagh‘s CINDERELLA and bring a brand new song to drive you insane.

USA Today has posted the first images from FROZEN FEVER along with a plot synopsis for the short.

In Frozen Fever, it’s Anna’s birthday and Elsa and Kristoff are determined to give her the best celebration ever, but Elsa’s icy powers may put more than just the party at risk.

With Idina Menzel, Josh Gad, and Kristen Bell all reprise their roles, I am sure this short film is going to be played in heavy rotation in every child’s home for at least the next year. As someone who enjoyed FROZEN, I am hoping that this film is at least well put together as Disney shorts have been in recent years and not just another cash grab to sell new dolls with slightly different outfits.

FROZEN FEVER debuts in front of Disney’s CINDERELLA on March 13th.
