Exclusive 1:1 Interview: Luke Evans talks Dracula Untold!

JoBloJoBlo

You'd think it would be daunting tackling a role like Dracula, a character whose name is instantly recognizable to just about anyone. But for Luke Evans, it seems as though it was a piece of cake. The charismatic Welsh actor, best known for his villainous turn in FAST AND FURIOUS 6, plays the man who would become Dracula in DRACULA UNTOLD, which blends fiction and fact to tell the story of Vlad the Impaler, the 15th Century Romanian crusader who helped inspire – in part – Bram Stoker's classic novel. There is a long list of Draculas in the world of cinema; will Evans end up being one of the most memorable?

I sat down with Luke to figure out whether or not he was intimidated by his latest role (hint: no), letting out his inner bloodsucker, and whether or not we'll be seeing more Dracula in the future. (Enjoy how he stonewalls me!)
