Man of Steel

Warner Bros. has released a second television spot for MAN OF STEEL and while it doesn't come close to the awesomeness of the last full length trailer, what do you expect from a thirty second commercial? There is a bit of new footage in the spot though, including Perry White, General Zod's message to Planet Earth and Henry Cavill making the same face I did when I found out Glee was picked up for two more seasons.

Take a look:

I've shown the trailers to friends that aren't Superman fans or fans of the previous film (I often hear, "Dude, I fell asleep during SUPERMAN RETURNS. Screw Superman.") and even most of them are excited as hell to see MAN OF STEEL. I think Zack Snyder is going to have a huge hit on his hands and it's going to be very interesting to see what DC plans to do with Superman and the Justice League if MAN OF STEEL pulls in a shit ton of money. By the way "shit ton" is an actual measurement of currency and is equal to about $350 million to $450 million. Give or take.

MAN OF STEEL starring Henry Cavill, Michael Shannon, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne, Russell Crowe, and Kevin Costner arrives in theaters on June 14th, 2013.
