These promo videos featuring Benedict Cumberbatch as John Harrison make me think that the villain is in a cave somewhere releasing threats to the crew of the Enterprise Osama bin Laden style. We've previously heard Cumberbatch's deliciously evil sounding voice as he took aim at Kirk and Spock and now it's Uhura's turn. Yahoo! Movies has the exclusive new video and on top of Harrison's psych profile on Zoe Saldana’s character we also get a glimpse of a Klingon without his helmet on for the very first time.
With all the talk being about who Cumberbatch is really playing I almost forgot that Klingons will be appearing in STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS. It's a very quick look at the alien race and Bleeding Cool was helpful enough to take a couple of screencaps from the footage of the Klingon.
It's pretty clear that Harrison plans on breaking the crew of the Enterprise physically and mentally and it makes me tingle to think of what kind of destruction and chaos he's going to deliver in the film.
Directed by J.J. Abrams and starring Chris Pine, Benedict Cumberbatch, Zachary Quinto, Karl Urban, Anton Yelchin, Zoe Saldana, John Cho, Simon Pegg, Alice Eve and Peter Weller, STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS is in theaters on May 17th, 2013 but you can catch it early in IMAX on May 15th, 2013.
