Guillermo Del Toro‘s PACIFIC RIM has gone a little quiet on the marketing front, likely gearing up for a big push as it draws closer to its debut in August. But, it looks like WB doesn’t want you to completely forget that they have a robots vs. monsters epic coming down the pipe and tweeted the latest poster, featuring one of the massive “good guy” robots (aka yaegers) just taking a stroll through the city and destroying everything in its path as a result. All in the name of saving humanity.

Rock ’em, Sock ’em:

Since MAN OF STEEL dropped its latest trailer the slate of summer movies has paled in comparison, but once ol’ Supes finally has his day in the sun I think folks will find their appetite for the other courses, like the appetizing PACIFIC RIM, which certainly looks like a good time at the show.

PACIFIC RIM, starring Charlie Hunnam, Idris Elba, Rinko Kikuchi, Charlie Day, Clifton Collins, Jr., Ron Perlman, starts the destruction July 12, 2013.
