It has been a while since we have shared one of these Movie Sins videos with you guys, but with IRON MAN 3 likely coming to us with universal acclaim, it is about time we nitpick the movie that started it all. When IRON MAN was originally released in 2008, I was indifferent since I consider Tony Stark a secondary hero in the pantheon of Marvel heroes. Boy, was I wrong. IRON MAN was an instant superhero classic and I still think of it as one of the best Marvel movies to date.
Compared to prior entries in this series of YouTube videos, there are some legitimate errors I see here that I never noticed before (“reigns”, the ARC reactor showing up early, etc). Yes, a lot of these are just nitpicks, but they are funny nitpicks. If you can’t step back and chuckle at these, then you take them a little too seriously. IRON MAN 3 will open in theaters on May 3, 2013.
