The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey 656 title

While we won’t actually have the chance to really check out what Peter Jackson and actor Benedict Cumberbatch have done with Smaug until the second film in the new trilogy at the very least, this TV spot does give audiences the flashiest of glimpses at his flaming form as it (presumably) descends upon the lakeside town of Dale.

And not only that – this TV spot also gives several glimpses of other action sequences thus far mostly unexplored in the advertising we’ve seen thus far, including the Warg battle in the woods and what might even possibly be the Battle of Five Armies.  I could also be wrong, so if you have a better inkling as to what action is being shown off here then don’t hesitate to strike back below and let me know!

Eleven days (Elven days?) until we stop writing about THE HOBBIT: AN UNEXPECTED JOURNEY and move on to writing about THE HOBBIT: THE DESOLATION OF SMAUG.
