So I said that the new IMAX poster for THE DARK KNIGHT RISES made tingly. Well, this Mondo poster for RETURN OF THE KING makes me drool. Just looking at it makes me want to buy it, frame it, put it on the wall, and stare at it for hours while listening to Rush.
I’ve never wanted a poster so badly in my life. Here’s the thing though, it will only be available at tonight’s screening of Mondo’s Mystery Movie in Austin, Texas. So if you see this article after attending and you have the poster in hand, know that you have cut me to the core. Why must I live in Texas but be punished with living too far from Austin? For those of you unfamiliar with Mondo’s Mystery Movie, here’s the rundown: you buy a ticket with no prior knowledge of what the film will be. When the night comes, you find out and receive a poster for the film.
