Two days ago, we showed you guys the international trailer for Rian Johnson’s fascinating-looking sci-fi actioner LOOPER, and it gave away quite a bit of the film’s story (so much so that the flick’s own Twitter page even gave us a warning about its potential spoilery-ness).

But today, Yahoo! Movies unveiled the brand new domestic trailer and it’s much better, changing the focus from that of the international trailer and keeping the mystery of the story as intact as possible while still revealing lots of great new footage. If you’re still on the fence after this one, I don’t know what to tell you!

LOOPER – starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Bruce Willis, Emily Blunt, Jeff Daniels and Paul Dano – opens September 28th.

Synopsis: In the futuristic action thriller Looper, time travel will be invented – but it will be illegal and only available on the black market. When the mob wants to get rid of someone, they will send their target 30 years into the past, where a “looper” – a hired gun, like Joe (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) – is waiting to mop up. Joe is getting rich and life is good… until the day the mob decides to “close the loop,” sending back Joe’s future self (Bruce Willis) for assassination.
