No matter how much you may love Danny Trejo and think he’s an entertaining badass, this may make you change your tune.  Because I’m pretty sure I hate Trejo a bit right now, even if it’s only good naturedly.  But still.  The jealousy is there, and it seethes like a volcano.

In an excerpt from a recent interview over at Moviehole, Trejo revealed: “The sequel to Machete, Machete Kills is going to be a lot more over-the-top than Machete. We’ve got Sofia Vergara, who is a star in her own right, Jessica Alba, Michelle Rodriguez, and Zoe Saldana – and guess what? I get to kiss all of ‘em.”  Now this is the first mention (I think) of Saldana, and if he really is in MACHETE KILLS then Robert Rodriguez has actually just upped the class, talent, and beauty quotient of his movie exponentially.

Trejo was also quoted as saying that while Machete is a favorite role his part in HEAT would probably come a close second, and went on to say that he is requesting (more like expecting) a role in SIN CITY: A DAME TO KILL FOR.  “I better,” he laughs, “if [Rodriguez] wants to do Machete 3… In fact, you can go ahead and print ‘Robert, let’s get Trejo in Sin City 2′!”  And Rodriguez does want to do MACHETE 3, meaning Trejo might ineed be in SIN CITY – so which character should he play?
