BATTLESHIP has, in all its marketing, managed to leave two main points unknown – the details of the alien design and their true purpose for coming to Earth. But why leave anything to be discovered in the course of a movie-going experience? Here’s a video exclusive from UK movie news site SFX that goes into detail on both of those counts, and is more specifically “about the concept of Goldilocks planets and why sending messages into outer space may not be such a wise idea…”

BATTLESHIP prepares to repel all boarders May 18th (April 11th in the UK).
