Javier Bardem is confirmed for Bond 23

It may not have a title yet, but BOND 23 is racking up a full roster in terms of a cast. One of the rumored members for a while now has been Javier Bardem, but only now is he officially confirming that he is in fact playing a part in the film to Nightline.

“I am very excited, my parents took me to watch the movies, and I saw all of them, and to play that is going to be fun. They chose me to play this man, but I cannot give you many details.”

It’s a bad guy role, which you might have guessed , and Ralph Fiennes is also supposed to be on board as a villain, but his part is so secret that according to him, “I swallowed a pill to make me forget what I was told.” If I had to guess, I think they might make him Blofeld, who is rumored to be making a return.

Judi Dench is back, Naomi Harris is Moneypenny, and Ben Whishaw, Helen McCrory and Berenice Marlohne are also on board. The only rumor about the title now is that it’s called SKYFALL, but that has yet to be anything close to confirm. Too close to the upcoming SKYRIM game for my liking, and doesn’t really sound like a Bond title anyway.
