Man, I can’t even take two seconds to check my Google Buzz without some new story worth reporting popping up today. This however, is probably the best thing I’ve heard all day, and clearly you’ve already looked at the picture to my right and you know why.
According to THR’s Heat Vision blog, Penelope Cruz is in talks to join Johnny Depp in the still-happening fourth PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN film in a unspecified role being kept secret from all us good journalists, and the only thing we actually know at all about the film at this point is that it has something to do with the Fountain of Youth.
Cruz recently scored an Oscar nomination as being the only good thing found in NINE, and heading to the high seas for PIRATES 4 would reunite her with director Rob Marshall. As long as her role involves her wearing some sort of corset, I’m all for it, and my excitement has never picked up for a project so quickly.
