Possibly one of the movies I’m looking forward to the most in 2010 is DINNER FOR SCHMUCKS.
The film is about a guy named Tim (Paul Rudd) who is trying to move up at work. Oddly, the best way to get in the good graces of the bossman is to bring the biggest dufus, or schmuck to the dinner. Turns out Tim picked a good one, none other than Steve Carell. I can’t think of anyone better for the job. Carell is great at playing cringeworthy. Look at Michael Scott, even though David Brent (Ricky Gervais), the original OFFICE boss is a lot better at embarrassing himself.
In this behind the scenes look, Rudd and Carell give us some info on the movie. Carell also talks about how handsome Rudd is (I don’t blame him). SCHMUCKS also has one thing that truly makes me happy…Zach Galifianakis.
