NEW MOON hasn’t even come out yet, and we already have title art for ECLIPSE.
It wouldn’t be so bothersome, if it looked better. The art just looks like some lazy shit I could have slapped together myself.
Last week, when I talked about the books getting more exciting, you guys shit a brick and assumed I was insane. For starters, I’m slightly sane and when I say “exciting”, I should have said, the action picked up. For the record, I’m not a fan of Stephanie Myers writing style. She tends to drag the worst parts out for 5 or so chapters. Plus, I know teens are emotional, but these kids might as well be the goth group from SOUTH PARK. On the other hand, I enjoy parts of it. I like the fact that it’s something that girls can really get into, and maybe if those girls get to Comic-Con, they’ll find something else they really like.
ECLIPSE is the best story out of the three I’ve read. I don’t really want to get into plot because someone out there may want to see NEW MOON. With David Slade directing, this might actually help the series. Then again, the heaviest part weights on the script. We’ll just have to see. I’ve also included the new TV spot for MOON. It’s sort of cheesy.
