The animated anthology FEAR(S) OF THE DARK is hitting festivals just in time to give audiences the collective heebies ’round Halloween season. The movie gathers several acclaimed graphic artists and lets them go wild with the nightmare-inducing imagery.
I’m not familiar with some of the artists, but after seeing Charles Burns’ work in motion, I’d almost rather see his freaky S.T.D. tale BLACK HOLE adapted like this rather than David Fincher’s planned live-action version.
