By all accounts, the upcoming Ben Stiller directed comedy TROPIC THUNDER is all kinds of awesome.
The story centers on a group of actors, the likes of which include Stiller himself, Jack Black, Jay Baruchel, Brandon T. Jackson as a character named “Alpa Chino” and the inimitable Robert Downey Jr. as a rigorously method Australian actor who undergoes surgery to become a southern black man, who get unknowingly thrust into a real life war situation.
