Tough guy TV cop and occasional cuddly rock monster Michael Chiklis has joined the cast of the DJ Caruso-directed suspense thriller EAGLE EYE. He’ll be playing the secretary of defense in a story in which a slacker (Shia “The Beef” LaBeouf) and his mother (Michelle Monaghan) are framed as terrorists and forced to actually help terrorists who plan to carry out a political assassination. Hilarity and crizazy action ensues. Billy Bob Thornton, Rosario Dawson, Anthony Azizi and Anthony Mackie also co-star in the currently filming thriller. Chiklis can next be heard in the animated fantasy adventure THE LEGEND OF SECRET PASS and will likely next be seen as the aforementioned lovable rock monster Ben Grimm in the FANTASTIC FOUR threequel.
