X2 and SUPERMAN RETURNS co-writer Mike Dougherty gets behind the camera to deliver chills with TRICK ‘r TREAT, which interweaves several terrifying subplots involving a neighborhood serial killer and some deadly pranksters.
Judging by the trailer, Dougherty has definitely captured the spirit of the holiday with every ingredient a Halloween-themed movie should have: costumes, bladed instruments, graves, hot chicks, jack-o-lanterns, screams, spooks, and what seems to be someone pulling off their skin.
