Brilliant cross-dressing Brit Eddie Izzard is trading in his lipstick and flamboyant garb for piped trousers and swastikas.
The accomplished comedian, stage and film actor has been drawn into the latest complex plot of Tom Cruise — he’s joined the cast of the WWII thriller VALKYRIE, from director Bryan Singer and his USUAL SUSPECTS collaborator Chris McQuarrie.
The inimitable Izzard (currently helping out handsome heist guys in OCEAN’S 13) also joins sexy BLACK BOOK babe Carice Van Houten in the movie, along with the previously rumored Kenneth Branagh, Tom Wilkinson and Bill Nighy. The fact-based film tells of a secret plot within Hitler’s ranks to assassinate der Führer.
