Four actors join Elizabeth Banks in James Gunn-produced horror film

Filming is currently underway on a new horror project that reteams James Gunn with his SLITHER star Elizabeth Banks. As announced a few weeks ago, the film is being directed by THE HIVE's David Yarovesky, working from a screenplay by Brian and Mark Gunn (James Gunn's brother and cousin, respectively), with James Gunn producing alongside financiers The H Collective.

Aside from the creative team, everything about this project is being kept under wraps, including its title. The most that has been revealed is that James Gunn has described the concept as

personal, and different, and perfectly suited for our times. And, yes, terrifying."

With cameras rolling, more cast members have been announced – Banks isn't just in this movie by herself. She has been joined by teen actor Jackson A. Dunn, who has appeared on the Showtime television series Shameless; David Denman, who played the character Roy Anderson on the U.S. version of The Office (pictured above); Meredith Hagner of the TBS series Search Party; and Matt Jones, who played Badger on Breaking Bad and has appeared in the genre films RED STATE and COOTIES.

Seems like a solid cast to me.

We'll be keeping a close eye on this project's progress and will share any other details that are revealed along the way.
