Warner Bros. decided to drop a huge casting bomb on us on this Friday night: Millie Bobby Brown – aka Eleven from Stranger Things – has joined the cast of GODZILLA 2. Only it's not called GODZILLA 2 anymore. No. Now it is…

GODZILLA: KING OF THE MONSTERS!

Guess there's no more perfect a title, eh?

The casting announcement comes only days after it was confirmed that Michael Dougherty (KRAMPUS) is officially sitting in the director's chair for the monster sequel. Dougherty and KRAMPUS co-writer Zach Shields wrote the screenplay.

Naturally, no character details are available just yet, but this is just the beginning, folks. GODZILLA: KING OF THE MONSTERS is underway, so expect to hear more soon. The film opens March 22, 2019.
