You can watch the Ash vs. Evil Dead NYCC panel right here

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Last Saturday, some exceptionally lucky attendees of the New York Comic Con got to watch the premiere episode of Ash vs. Evil Dead in its entirety, followed by a Q&A panel moderated by Kevin Smith and featuring EVIL DEAD creator Sam Raimi, Ash himself Bruce Campbell, "vs. Evil Dead" showrunner Craig DiGregori, and Campbell's co-stars Ray Santiago, Dana DeLorenzo, Jill Marie Jones, and Lucy Lawless.

While those of us who weren't at NYCC will have to wait until its October 31st premiere on Starz to watch the episode, the network has graciously made most of the panel available to be viewed online. The video is embedded below, and while there seems to have been a little editing here and there, it's still great to be able to watch these 43 minutes of an entertaining bunch of people discussing a show I can't wait to see.

The series synopsis:

Ash, the stock boy, aging lothario and chainsaw-handed monster hunter, has spent the last 30 years avoiding responsibility, maturity and the terrors of the Evil Dead. When a Deadite plague threatens to destroy all of mankind, Ash is finally forced to face his demons –personal and literal. Destiny, it turns out, has no plans to release the unlikely hero from its “Evil” grip.

The first season of Ash vs. Evil Dead is set to run for ten episodes, and I'm already hoping there will be many more episodes after that.
