Psychological thriller Dartmoor Killing casts Gemma-Leah Devereux and more

UK psychological thriller DARTMOOR KILLING has begun to assemble a cast. According to Deadline, Rebecca Night (Lark Rise To Candleford; pictured above), Gemma-Leah Devereux (The Tudors; pictured below), Callum Blue (Colombiana, Smallville, David Hayman (Queen And Country, Jack Ryan) and theater actress Olivia Morgan have all boarded the Peter Nicholson-helmed film, which begins shooting on June 10th.

Here’s a synopsis:

When two young female friends set off on a hiking weekend on Dartmoor, both are carrying secrets they have not shared. For Becky, the isolated moor reawakens demons from her past. For Susan, the trip offers a chance to transform her future. But neither is prepared for the emotional shock waves that follow an encounter with a young man on the moors – an encounter that forces them to confront their lives and leads them into a terrifying and lethal ordeal.

The highly regarded script was penned by Isabelle Grey. The film was partially funded via Kickstarter.
