New Regency, Brett Ratner’s RatPac Entertainment and Brad Pitt’s Plan B have acquired 3 VIDEOTAPES, based upon a pitch by Ian McCulloch.
There are no details available on the plot just yet, although the film is described by Deadline as “an elevated thriller with aspects of THE RING and MEMENTO.”

Pitt, Ratner will produce alongside New Regency’s Arnon Milchan and Brad Weston, with whom Pitt made 12 YEARS A SLAVE last year. This film sounds decidedly different.
