We've got a quick update on some release date news for you guys regarding James DeMonaco's THE PURGE: ANARCHY as it has been moved from June 20, 2014 to July 18, 2014. Its new date will set it up against the Wachowski's JUPTER ASCENDING, which should be a pretty good box office fight!
The trailer for THE PURGE: ANARCHY dropped earlier this month so be sure to check it out right HERE if you missed it. Even though we've seen a trailer, stills and even a poster, they still haven't released an official synopsis. That being said, the trailer pretty much tells us everything we need to know about the sequel as it takes the action outside this time around.
Once again written and directed by James DeMonaco, THE PURGE: ANARCHY opens on June 20th and stars Kiele Sanchez, Frank Grillo, Michael K. Williams and Zach Gilford.
