I haven't made it past the third film in the series but I know there's still a lot of people who enjoy the absolute shit out of these films so I say keep making them if they're still raking in the cash — why not? Originally Sony made a date with the flick on September 12, 2014. That was until Milla Jovovich took to Twitter saying that she thought the film would be released in 2015. Now that you're all caught up, it looks like the film might just be here sooner rather than later.
In a recent interview with director Paul W.S. Anderson, The Star revealed that he'll start shooting RESIDENT EVIL 6 this fall which means once he finishes up POMPEII, he'll head straight into a swarm of flesh eating zombies! Things are looking good for Sony's original release date of September 12, 2014, but you guys know how these things can be. So we'll see if it sticks.
The sixth film in the series will see Milla Jovovich return as Alice but that's all we've got so far. We'll keep you guys posted along the way.
