By now you’ve surely seen the latest, and perhaps final, one-sheet for THE DARK KNIGHT RISES, release earlier today. Rather uninspired, if you ask me, as it’s simply the teaser poster with Batman slapped in the foreground.
No matter, though, we’ve got something new to fawn over: Three new character posters from Christopher Nolan’s summer sequel, which are sure to make you wet… Because of the rain, you see…
Take a look at the posters below. It should be plain to surmise who is on display here: Bats (Christian Bale), Catwoman (Anne Hathaway) and Bane (Tom Hardy). That ought to keep you Bat-fanatics satisfied – for a few hours anyway.
Dig the way the rain melds into debris or shrapnel or whatever the rough stuff is. There’s no denying that this imagery is pretty grim; though that’s what we’ve come to expect from Nolan’s super-dark superhero franchise, isn’t it?
THE DARK KNIGHT RISES opens on JULY 20th.
