Well folks this “Munsters” reboot “Mockingbird Lane” is really shaping up isn’t it? Last month we learned that Eddie Izzard and Charity Wakefield would be starring in the thing and now here we sit with some b*tching concept art for the project!
Alright so maybe I’m being a little overly dramatic. Truth is the concept art is pretty tame but it’s definitely nice to see where things are heading with “Mockingbird Lane.” Now the early art, which comes courtesy of Entertainment Weekly, features looks at ‘Grandpa Munster,’ ‘Lily Munster’ and our setting: 1313 Mockingbird Lane. The madness begins when a baby bear attacks a scouting trip, only it turns out that this “bear” is actually Eddie transformed into a werewolf. Eddie is unaware of his metamorphosis and it forces the family to move in order to protect the family secret. The coming of age story gets weirder as he fights against his family when he learns of a shocker: they’re a family of flesh-eaters!
Things on “Mockingbird Lane” are moving quickly with Eddie Izzard already cast as ‘Grandpa’ and Charity Wakefield (below) stepping in as ‘Marilyn Munster.’ I’m sure we’ll get the rest of the cast heading our way soon so be sure to check back for that as we hear it.
