Kate Dickie & Guy Pearce chat about Ridley Scott’s Prometheus

Last Updated on July 23, 2021

Ridley Scott’s PROMETHEUS is still over four months away so I sincerely hope you’re not burnt on the thing yet! Especially considering today’s update! You see we don’t only have one person talking about the flick today, but we’ve actually got two! Natch!

First up we’ve got MTV recently chatting with the insanely talented and underrated Guy Pearce. With all the other action going on around this flick it seems to have been forgotten that Pearce is even part of it. But that’s exactly what I’m here to remind you about! Unfortunately it seems like he’ll only be there for about a minute…

“I’m only [in the film] for a minute, but it was a real honor to work with Ridley [Scott], to see what was going on. I think Michael Fassbender, Noomi Rapace and Charlize Theron and everybody will do a really spectacular job.”

And in regards to whether PROMETHEUS will have an old school ALIEN feel to it the actor responded: “A little bit. A little bit.”

But that’s not all! We’ve also got Kate Dickie talking to the Scottish Daily Star about the film. Now her words are very spoiler-heavy so I’m not going to post any here. Apparently the actress goes into detail about a death in the flick, when they clock out and what kills them. To see what she said just head right over HERE. And to see a shot of the newspaper article courtesy of AvP Galaxy just head HERE.

Ridley Scott, director of “Alien” and “Blade Runner,” returns to the genre he helped define. With PROMETHEUS, he creates a groundbreaking mythology, in which a team of explorers discover a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth, leading them on a thrilling journey to the darkest corners of the universe. There, they must fight a terrifying battle to save the future of the human race.

Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Guy Pearce, Idris Elba, Logan Marshall-Green and Charlize Theron (below) all star in PROMETHEUS, which is set to hit theaters everywhere on June 8th.
