We’ve been teased for months folks and now it’s finally here! The trailer for Ridley Scott’s PROMETHEUS! Over the past few days we’ve been treated to ‘teasers’ for the trailer and now it’s here. Now unfortunately the trailer is in bootleg form but that doesn’t really take much away from it. In a time where THE HOBBIT and WRATH OF THE TITANS trailers are running wild beggers can’t be choosers, right?

Ridley Scott, director of “Alien” and “Blade Runner,” returns to the genre he helped define. With PROMETHEUS, he creates a groundbreaking mythology, in which a team of explorers discover a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth, leading them on a thrilling journey to the darkest corners of the universe. There, they must fight a terrifying battle to save the future of the human race.
Pretty epic right? Truth be told I wasn’t really buying all the hype for PROMETHEUS but now you can go ahead and color this schmuck completely sold! I’m sure anyone who watches this trailer will feel the same way. Go ahead, scroll down and peep it again.
PROMETHEUS sports a breath-taking cast that includes Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Guy Pearce, Idris Elba, Logan Marshall-Green and Charlize Theron (below). Now the only downside is we’ve still got 5 months to wait until it’s June 8, 2012 release date.
