Director David R. Ellis is a pretty busy guy. He just finished SHARK NIGHT 3D this year and already he’s got several other films lined up. First up he’ll be tackling the live-action adaptation of anime KITE followed by the serial killer flick THE BRIAR LAKE MURDERS. But what else does the filmmaker have planned?
According to Bloody-Disgusting it could be the long-awaited adaptation of the populer CLOCK TOWER video game! Though to be fair it looks like the flick is getting further and further away from the source material…
According to BD Ellis rated CLOCK TOWER as ‘a cool supernatural horror’ and added the following:
“Clock Tower is about a spirit force that takes over peoples bodies and makes them do really horrific things. It kind of goes from body to body searching for people with an elevated heartbeat. At the right time it gets in there and people go crazy and start killing other people. It’s really well written and it’s going to be a lot of fun.”
Alright then… Now I haven’t played the video game so I’m not sure how much this take differs from the game’s. Some help would be appreciated. You guys want to spit some bullets below and let us know how similar this rundown is to the video game’s?
Mind you if Ellis does indeed tackle CLOCK TOWER it won’t be for a while so we’ll keep this one on the backburner for now. Though if any other updates do come our way you can bet we’ll pass that shite right along to all of you.
