So, THE DARKEST HOUR…you all give Eric’s second-part set visit a look. Dam cool shite, right?

Well, perhaps you’ll have those sentiments reinforced after laying eyes on the second trailer for the Russian set alien epic. In it, like the first, you’ll see people get evaporated into nothingness…via contact from an energy-seeking extraterrestrial. Good FX work here, hopefully the film reflects that as a whole.

With Rachel Taylor (below), Emile Hirsch, Olivia Thirlby, Max Minghella, and Joel Kinnamanall taking part:

THE DARKEST HOUR follows five young people who find themselves stranded in Moscow, fighting to survive in the wake of a devastating alien attack. The 3D action-thriller highlights classic beauty of Moscow alongside mind-blowing special effects from the minds of visionary filmmaker Timur Bekmambetov (WANTED, NIGHT WATCH) and director Chris Gorak.

THE DARKEST HOUR strikes Christmas day.
