Just in time to get you excited for the Halloween weekend we’ve got news on a project the likes of which we’ve never seen. Claiming to be “the ultimate in trans-media/interactive entertainment” and “the first live-streaming narrative feature film, intertwining a full social media experience with live (real time) interaction,” we’ve got – KILL CAM: LIVE!
Planning to create a cross-platform patchwork narrative, KILL CAM: LIVE is teaming up with Ustream Inc. and have put up a nifty little countdown timer over at the film’s official website. What is the timer counting down to? Well it seems it’s ticking away the seconds until we reach Halloween 2011! Why? Well that’s not really specified…. What we do have is somewhat of a rundown for this little diddy! Check it:
We follow a group of college students as they willingly participate in an experiment to study the effects of communicating solely through social media and the latest in technological advances. Until something goes wrong – and then it really gets interesting.
That’s about all we’ve got from the recent KILL CAM: LIVE press release but if you head on over to the flick’s official website you can sign up with your email address and “Join the Experiment.” Then you can scroll down below, or head over to our videos section, and check out the teaser for KILL CAM: LIVE. So much to do, so little time!
While we don’t have a whole lot of info on this one right now something tells me once Halloween comes around we’ll know a lot more… Or at least we’ll have something new to add to the project! So in the meantime check out the goods and be sure to keep it here for more on KILL CAM: LIVE as we hear it!

I love social media!
