There’s just something about post-apocalyptic flicks that draws people to them, isn’t there? I’d say it’s the wonder of what would happen if a potentially world-ending event actually did happen. How would people react? This is the draw for these end-of-the-world flicks and THE END is no different.
The cleverly titled post-apocalyptic romp was penned by “Heroes” writer/producer Aron Eli Coleite and, according to Deadline New York, was just snatched up by Warner Brothers. We’re not really offered much in regards to THE END but what we do have is a rundown for the sci-fi/drama flick. Check it:
The film focuses on three completely different storylines that are interconnected by the fact that the players in each one are trying to reconcile the fact that the world is going to end. There is a veteran broadcaster in London, a 16-year old girl and her boyfriend in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and a devoted family man in Shanghai. They each try to make peace with their lives before an interstellar event ends the world in just six hours.
And that’s all we’ve got! What says you guys? Enough to warrent any interest here or will you wait until you see more from THE END? Spit some bullets below and let us know how you’re feeling about this one as we patiently wait for more updates.
