So what did you guys think of Daniel Stamm’s THE LAST EXORCISM? Unfortunately I’ve yet to catch this little diddy, regardless of the pretty positive word surrounding it. I’ll go ahead and wait until it hits Netflix instant stream.
Alas it seems the flick was successful enough to warrent a sequel though because word coming in from The Hollywood Reporter’s Heat Vision blog today has THE LAST EXORCISM producers tapping scribe Damien Chazelle to pen the sequel! And that’s all we’ve got!
Besides Damien Chazelle’s attachment all we know about this sequel is that Studio Canal is financing with production slated to begin this fall. Hell we don’t even know who the ‘producers’ that hired Chazelle are. I wonder if Eli Roth will return?
So there you have it ladies and gents. If I had more info on this shindig you can bet I’d give it to you but for now what you see is what you get. As soon as more news crosses our paths regarding this LAST EXORCISM sequel you can bet we’ll pass those updates right along to all of you.
