The last update we got on director Jaume Balaguero’s solo effort SLEEP TIGHT came back in January in the form of a teaser trailer for the film. Back in January! That was a long ass time ago folks so I’d say it’s about time for an update.
Courtesy of the folks over at Filmax we’ve got another trailer for SLEEP TIGHT for our viewing pleasure, only this time it’s got English sub-titles! Nice! Now we can have some idea of what’s going on in this thing. So what’re you waiting for? You know you want to check this shite out! Just scroll on down below or head over to our videos section for the goods.
SLEEP TIGHT focuses on Marcos, who works as a doorman in a Barcelona apartment building. Happiness eludes him and he feels the need to reaffirm his reasons for living on a daily basis. He goes about his day to day work mainly unnoticed by the residents of the building, but he pays close attention to them.
He knows all the intimate details of their lives, everything about them, especially one of them. Clara King is a happy-go-lucky young woman, who always looks on the positive side of things. Her cheery attitude to life makes Marcos’s skin crawl. He won’t be happy until he has wiped that smile of her face once and for all, because Marcos feeds off other people’s pain. He delights in the unhappiness and anguish of others and he loves nothing more than to plant the seed of misery and watch it grow. In Clara he has found the perfect target, and he will go to extreme lengths to make her life miserable. But Marcos is starting to get a bit too cocky, and soon his carefully thought out plans will start to unravel… Luckily for him, he has one last ace up his sleeve.
SLEEP TIGHT stars Luis Tosar, Marta Etura (below), Alberto San Juan, Petra Martinez, Carlos Lasarte, Pep Tosar, Amparo Fernandez and Iris Almeida.
So now that we can actually understand it, what do you guys think of SLEEP TIGHT?
