LLeju Productions will release THE CHAMELEON in select theaters on June 10. Locations have not yet been revealed, but it’s looking for theaters in the nation’s top markets, so expect the usual major cities. If it’s not playing near you, fear not; the film will be available on video on demand the same day.

LLeju Productions president/founder William O. Perkins stated, “THE CHAMELEON takes a gritty look at a family unlike any other which is portrayed by an all-star cast of characters who were just brilliant to work with. This film reflects independent cinema at its best.”

That all-star cast he speaks of includes Famke Janssen (below, X-MEN), Ellen Barkin (OCEAN’S 13), Marc-André Grondin (C.R.A.Z.Y.), Emilie de Ravin (THE HILLS HAVE EYES), Brian Geraghty (THE HURT LOCKER), Nick Stahl (TERMINATOR 3: RISE OF THE MACHINES), and Tory Kittles (“FEAR CLINIC”).

The psychological drama/thriller is directed by Jean-Paul Salomé, who co-wrote the script with Natalie Carter. It is based on the novel of the same name by Christophe D’Antonio, which itself is an account of the bizarre true story of Frédéric Bourdin.

A fractured family welcomes home their son who had been missing for years. When the details of his sudden reappearance don’t quite add up, the suspicions of a determined FBI agent are raised. As pieces of a mysterious puzzle fall together, an unveiled past reveals deep and dark secrets.
