One flick that supposedly rocks pretty hard is Dick Maas’ Dutch killer Santa flick SINT. This thing has been making the rounds internationally and has been scoring some pretty positive feedback wherever it goes. Now we’ve told you about this one several times before so no reason to really get into it, I’m just going to hit you with the goods.
To celebrate SINT’s entry into this year’s Tribeca Film Festival we’ve been treated to a trio of new stills from the film. Nothing worth writing home about but there are a couple interesting shots thrown in. Just scroll away above and below to check out the goods.
St. Niklas, a bishop fallen out of grace, who travels in the middle ages with his gang of robbers and thieves through the countryside, raping, plundering and killing. When villagers take the law into their own hands and murder the bloodthirsty bishop and his thugs by setting the ship on which they travel ablaze, Niklas vows revenge.
Now every time there is a full moon on December 5, the date he died, something that on average takes place every 36 years, St. Niklas and his helpers will rise from the dead and take revenge in a horrible way.
Oh killer Santas. So naughty. The flick stars Huub Stapel, Egbert Jan Weeber, Caro Lenssen, Kees Boot, Frederik Brom, Madelief Blanken, Cynthia Abma, Joey van der Velden, Terrence Sinclair and Christopher Parren. While a US release date has yet to be announced we do know that XYZ Films are the ones handling this one. A release date for SINT should be rolling our way any day now so be sure to check back soon for that!
