Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter casts another: Jimmi Simpson

Timur Bekmatebov’s high-concept action horror flick ABRAHAM LINCOLN: VAMPIRE HUNTER is moving full steam ahead: With a cast that already includes Ben Walker, Dominic Cooper, Anthony Mackie and Mary Elisabeth Winstead (pictured below), the film just added Jimmi Simpson to the bloody shenanigans.

I recognize Simpson as one of the two disgusting McPoyle brothers on “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia”, but the actor has an extensive filmography, appearing in such genre flicks as STAY ALIVE, ZODIAC and the Stephen King-penned mini-series “Rose Red”. He’ll soon be seen in Joe Lynch’s KNIGHTS OF BADASSDOM.
