An international quad poster has hit for the upcoming Jason Statham thriller BLITZ, about a tough cop dispatched to take down a serial killer who has been targeting police officers. With a glowering Statham hovering over London and a tagline like “It’s Cop-Killer Versus Killer-Cop”, you can’t go wrong, so let’s just consider this a win on all fronts already. My new favorite piece of dialogue comes after someone asks him if he’s taking notes; his response: “Do I look like I carry a pencil?” I’m praying I get an opportunity to use that one day, however unlikely the scenario may be.
BLITZ also stars Paddy Considine, Aidan Gillen, Luke Evans and David Morrisey; it’s due to hit theaters in 2011.
