An international quad poster has hit for the upcoming Jason Statham thriller BLITZ, about a tough cop dispatched to take down a serial killer who has been targeting police officers. With a glowering Statham hovering over London and a tagline like “It’s Cop-Killer Versus Killer-Cop”, you can’t go wrong, so let’s just consider this a win on all fronts already. We’ve also got a trailer for you below. Gotta admit it looks cool, although that’s to be expected as Statham is incapable of coming off any other way. The man eats awesome for breakfast. My new favorite piece of dialogue comes after someone asks him if he’s taking notes; his response: “Do I look like I carry a pencil?” I’m praying I get an opportunity to use that one day, however unlikely the scenario may be.

BLITZ also stars Paddy Considine, Aidan Gillen, Luke Evans and David Morrisey; it’s due to hit theaters in 2011.
