Warrior Entertainment has released a teaser trailer for BLOOD FARE. Watch it below. Obviously technologically advanced, the preview features an iPad browsing Wikipedia. Other than that, we also see Buck Rogers himself, Gil Gerard, in the lead role. Co-stars include Michelle Wolff, Brandi Lynn Anderson, and S. Edward Meek.

Written and directed by female indie filmmaker J.A. Steel, the movie also employs special makeup effects artist Chris Hanson (UNDERWORLD) and director of photography Michael B. Call (127 HOURS). The synopsis is as follows:

BLOOD FARE is a Civil War ghost story with a modern twist, by J.A. Steel and Co-Producer Christian K. Koch.  It is the tale of Corporal Henry Trout (S. Edward Meek – WILD STALLION), who in 1861 fought valiantly in a forgotten skirmish after the first battle of Bull Run. 150 years later, he will come face to face with his descendants as the battle for blood continues on a haunted battlefield.  Tyler (Brandi Lynn Anderon –  Syfy’s ZERO’S) and her brother Chad (Adrian West), Henry’s fifth generation grandchildren, will challenge the very legend of Charon the Ferryman, as the lines between the living and the dead become blurred.

Production began in mid-August with the filming of a Civil War re-enactment group in Utah. Currently in post-production, the movie is expected to see the light of day next year.
