Well folks it seems things are finally rolling with Christopher Nolan’s third BATMAN film! About damn time… Now that all the INCEPTION buzz is cooling off it’s time for Nolan and company to get rolling with arguably the most highly anticipated sequel of the past decade. Can you feel the excitement?!
Hell it was only a couple weeks ago that we told you about how Tom Hardy had been the first official name cast in the flick and here we are with more goods to get you pumped! Not only do we now have an official title for ‘BATMAN 3’ but we’ve also got word on who the villain won’t be in the film. You see according to the LA Times’ Hero Complex blog it seems one villain that’s out of contention is the hugely rumored ‘Riddler.’ It was also previously reported that Nolan has nixed ‘Mr. Freeze’ from contention as well. Well damn… there goes that.
But I know what you’re asking yourself: ‘What’s the title going to be?!’ Well in case you haven’t read the title of this aricle, let me tell you all! BATMAN 3’s official title will be THE DARK KNIGHT RISES, according to Christopher Nolan himself. Interesting… I don’t know about the rest of you but an announcement like this is giving me goosebumps… This shite is really kicking it into gear! Nolan also talks about how Warner Bros. (thankfully!) agreed with him that the film should not be shot in 3D, though it will be using IMAX cameras. Natch!
