Well folks it’s hard to believe SAW 3D: THE TRAPS COME ALIVE is only a few months away. Hell when I mention it to friends their exact reaction is: ‘sigh. Another SAW flick?’ Pretty sure that sums up most people’s opinions on the franchise at this point.

Mind you this thing will still make a load of money and hey, it might actually be pretty good. Word has it SAW 3D is looking halfway decent so maybe we’ve got another SAW VI on our hands. To help argue it’s case, Lionsgate have gone ahead and announced a groovy SAW 3D event at this week’s Comic-Con. We just received the invite in our inbox, which sports some pretty cool new art for the film.

Obviously we’re treated to somebody’s tweaked eye. Guess they’re really pushing this 3D thing huh…

As a deadly battle rages over Jigsaw’s brutal legacy, a group of Jigsaw survivors gathers to seek the support of self-help guru and fellow survivor Bobby Dagen, a man whose own dark secrets unleash a new wave of terror…

SAW 3D finds Kevin Greutert back in the director’s chair with Tobin Bell, Cary Elwes, Costas Mandylor, Sean Patrick Flanery, Betsy Russell, Gina Holden (below), Tanedra Howard, Chad Donella and Shauna MacDonald all starring. This thing goes down everywhere on October 22nd!
