It’s been a while folks but today we have a nice juicy update for you all regarding the beloved SAW franchise. Actually… it hasn’t been a while. We got our last update on SAW 3D aka SAW 7 just last week and we got an update on SAW II: FLESH & BLOOD just a week before that. So in retrospect… We’ve actually been talking a lot about SAW.
But alas that just means we’re going to be talking more about it today! First up we’ve got the brand new trailer for SAW: THE VIDEO GAME sequel SAW II: FLESH & BLOOD. This new, longer trailer offers up a better glimpse of what we can expect with FLESH & BLOOD. Hell if you’re a fan of the SAW franchise and a fan of video games I can’t see how you can go wrong with this one. Just scroll below to check that shite out or head over to our videos section.
But before you do that you’ll most definitely want to check out the latest behind the scenes shots from SAW 7! Alright… so they’re not that exciting, but it’s still a pretty cool update. You see, SAW 7 director Kevin Greutert recently updated his blog with the following:
“I’ll probably get massively busted for this, but…. I just got back to Los Angeles after spending the last six months in Toronto shooting and editing ‘Saw VII’, and had a chance to go through some photos. …….. Soon you will start seeing real pictures from ‘Saw VII’, since I’m not allowed to show anything spoilerific (the sooner the better, in fact, with the ‘Paranormal Activity 2’ trailer out there petrifying ‘Twilight’ audiences across the land.) The movie is a sledgehammer of SAWishness, with more traps, more craziness, and more die-mensions than we’ve ever tried before, and I can’t wait for everyone to see it.”
The director then goes on to throw up a handful of new behind the scenes shots. I’ve tossed a few up below but you’ll want to click through on those to check out the rest.
So what do you guys think? I’m happy to hear Greutert talking so positivley about his new film after the high school drama that was the film’s pre-production. I’m even more stoked to hear he’s excited about the final product… But alas is this Greutert talking from the heart or just pleasing some suits? Time will tell I suppose. SAW 3D aka SAW 7 hits theaters everywhere on October 22nd!
