In April of 2007, the world was bare witnessed to the awesomeness of the Quentin Tarantino / Robert Rodriguez double-feature GRINDHOUSE, which has since opened a resurrection of GRINDHOUSE-style films, throwing back to the good ol’ days of schlock cinema from the 70s.

Not only were we given the full-length features PLANET TERROR and DEATH PROOF, but we were also give a number of fake trailers, including Rodriguez’s MACHETE (which hits theaters in full-length form this September), Edgar Wright’s DON’T, Eli Roth’s THANKSGIVING, and Rob Zombie’s WEREWOLF WOMEN OF THE S.S.. But since the film was sort of a box office failure, the subsequent DVD / Blu-ray were released as two separate films, and the trailers (except MACHETE) have never been seen again. Until now, apparently…

Straight from Wright’s Twitter page, So, get this, tomorrow I am doing a commentary on ‘Don’t’. Some of you will know what that means is finally happening.

Wow. I’m speechless. And excited. And beyond f*ckin’ stoked! This Tweet implies that the complete GRINDHOUSE experience is finally coming to DVD and Blu-ray, with both films presented back to back, with the fake trailers bridging the two features together in 3 hours of pure cinematic awesomeness.

I don’t normally double-dip, but I will definitely be double-dipping the GRINDHOUSE experience whenever it comes out on Blu-ray. Plus, looks like even the trailers are gonna have commentary tracks. F*ck yeah!
