Vivendi Visual Entertainment has announced four horror movies from the Weinstein/Dimension library for release on Blu-ray in the lead-up to the Halloween season. However, you really should hold off on getting your hopes up, because none of these will ever be mistaken for horror classics.

The studio will release PULSE on September 7 (pre-order here), FEAST on September 14 (pre-order here), PREY on September 28 (pre-order here) and BLACK CHRISTMAS (the 2006 remake) on October 19.

Unfortunately, no special features have been revealed as of yet. Honestly, only FEAST really appeals to me, and even that I don’t think I need to own on Blu-Ray. BLACK CHRISTMAS has its weird charms (although I still wouldn’t call it “good”), but the other two are of no consequence.

And what about SCREAM? Or will we have to wait until next April for that..?
