Earlier this week Jake hit you all with the newest one-sheet for Michael Winterbottom’s THE KILLER INSIDE ME. That poster featured a very creepy Casey Affleck looking pretty freaking twisted. While that one-sheet just gave us the talented Affleck this newest one from Korea gives us a look at the whole cast!
Well not the whole cast of course, but the three leads! Courtesy of JoBlo’s Pimpin’ Poster Palace we’ve got a look at the newest Korean poster for the twisted thriller. This new one-sheet offers up Affleck in the background while gorgeous stars Kate Hudson and Jessica Alba take front and center. Simple enough but for the most part pretty boring… Then again does this flick really need to sell you with it’s posters? Probably not.
Based on the novel by legendary pulp writer Jim Thompson, Michael Winterbottom’s THE KILLER INSIDE ME tells the story of handsome, charming, unassuming small town sheriff’s deputy Lou Ford.
Lou has a bunch of problems. Woman problems. Law enforcement problems. An ever-growing pile of murder victims in his West Texas jurisdiction. And the fact he’s a sadist, a psychopath, a killer. Suspicion begins to fall on Lou, and it’s only a matter of time before he runs out of alibis. But in Thompson’s savage, bleak, blacker than noir universe nothing is ever what it seems, and it turns out that the investigators pursuing him might have a secret of their own.
Along with Affleck, Alba and Hudson (below) the film also stars Simon Baker, Ned Beatty, Bill Pullman, Brent Briscoe, Elias Koteas, Tom Bower, Matthew Maher, Liam Aiken and Jay R. Ferguson. That’s one impressive cast! I’m pretty much sold on this shite… What says you guys? You digging on Winterbottom’s KILLER INSIDE ME or are you planning to pass on this one? Be sure to hit us with your thoughts below!
THE KILLER INSIDE ME hit UK theaters a couple days ago on June 8th with a limited theatrical release planned for here in the US starting June 18th.
