It was just a couple days ago that Ammon hit you all with the details on Xavier Gens’ latest flick THE DIVIDE. So here we are today, just 48 hours later, with the first still from the flick!
Alright, so this still doesn’t exactly scream awesome but it’s definitely intriguing. If you scroll below you’ll see the new shot in all it’s glory. We’re treated to some dude all geared up and ready to kick some ass! He’s even got his gun jammed right in our faces. Nice. Could this be one of the HazMat dudes that’s going to terrorize our group of survivors? Quite possibly!
[The film is] set in New York, which is virtually destroyed in a mysterious explosion in the first act. Eight survivors take refuge in the fallout shelter of an apartment building, where they are menaced first by mysterious men in HazMat suits and eventually by each other.
Starring in the film will be Lauren German (above), Rosanna Arquette (below), Courtney B. Vance, Milo Ventimiglia, and Michael Biehn. Hell that’s actually one impressive cast, I’m sold on that shite alone! Not to mention the fact that THE DIVIDE will potentially make or break Mr. Gens. Alright… so it’s probably not that serious, but a lot of people are going to be looking closely at this one to see whether Gens can deliver the goods like he did in FRONTIER(S) or if he’ll stumble and fall like he did with HITMAN. Which way do you see this one going? Early word has THE DIVIDE more along the lines of FRONTIER(S) so I suppose things are looking good!
